The enterprise was established in 1929, its first production were piston rings for engines of «International», «Luntsbuldo» and «Fordzon» tractors.
In further the factory sets about the production of agricultural equipment, making building mechanisms, metal constructions, repairs excavators, cranes, engines and other machinery.
In 1959 the plant went over to making electric welding equipment by insistent proposal of Å.Î.Paton Electric Welding Institute.
The first welding apparatuses with KZESO trademark were ABC automatic welder for welding under the flux layer.

From 1971 till 1985 putting into operation of new equipment for traditional welding is accompanied by starting of manufacturing of unique K 355 suspended welders for flash butt welding of rails. The production of a variety of welders and mobile complexes for automatic arc welding of rigid joints of pipes with the diameter from
At the beginning of the 80ies the plant started production of ÏÄÃ 508 semi-automatic welders and K 190ÏÀ stationary rail welding machines. Within these years manufacturing of consumer goods was being developed and volumes of output was being increased. The plant reconstruction was being held.
Since 1987 the production of À 1406, À 1412, À 1416, ÀÄ 231, ÀÄ 320 automatic welders and ÏÄÃ 516, ÏÄÃ 603, ÏÄÔ 502 semi-automatic welders for arc welding and surfacing under the layer of flux and with tube wires starts.

Considerable consolidation at the national market as well as at the international one is a result of properly chosen policy and the orientation of plant development. KZESO becomes the largest enterprise in
In 1995 continuing the close cooperation with E.Î.Paton Electric Welding Institute the plant makes a powerful spurt on arrangement at production universal welding rectifiers of 300À, 400À, 500À and 1250À, welding transformers at 110À, 250À, 315À and 500À. The output of mobile four-post welding units begins on the basis of all-wheel drive automobiles and skidding tractors.
In 1996 the plant developed the output of the series of welders for resistance spot welding - ÊÒ004, ÊÒ007, ÊÒ008, ÊÒ009, and ÊØ001 and ÊØ002 welders for seam welding as well.
New computerized rail Ê-900À, Ê920 and Ê1000 welders, and also Ê-924 welder (for flash-butt welding of railway cross-pieces with appropriate rail profiles), equipped with microprocessor control systems and hydraulic apparatuses of the best European manufacturers exceed foreign analogs and took a stable place at the world market.
Since 2007 the second area of KZESO activity begins the manufacture of track machinery namely the Ñ×-1000 ballast cleaning mashine, the ÊÐÑ-1 rail welding mashine, the ÑÏÇ-5/UA ballast leveling mashine; overhaul and modernization of the ÏÐÑÌ-3 self-propelled welding machine.
