OJSC «Kakhovka plant of electric welding equipment» is the biggest manufacturer and designer of electric welding equipment for the arc and contact welding in CIS countries according to volumes of output, range of products and workers number. On the 1^st of October, 2004 the plant celebrated its 75 -th anniversary.

In close cooperation with E.O. Paton Electric Welding Institute the plant produces complicated science intensive eqipment with reliable control system that allows to strengthen its positions both in the national and world markets.

Welding equipment produced in Kakhovka competes successfully with the best models of machinery of the leading foreign companies and is exploited in 76 countries of the world including the USA, Austria, China and Korea. The plant is a world leader in production of equipment for flash-butt welding of rails and pipes. 

At the beginning of 2007 the plant for manufacture of track machinery was opened and began its work on the new production areas of OJSC «KZESO».

The nomenclature of new plant includes: the КРС-1 self-propelled rail welding machines and modernized ПРСМ-3 ones,        the СЧ-1000  and СЧ-601 self-propelled ballast cleaning complexes, the СПЗ-5 ballast leveling machine.

The main customers of track machinery are the railway organizations with which the plant has been working for many years supplying them the         КСМ-005 unique mobile rail welding complex manufactured on the МАЗ automobile chassis.
