The service of track machines and rail welding equipment is provided by the specially established department of service for track machinery – DSTM.

The list of equipment the out-of-warranty service of which is based on the agreement is the following:

• К920, К922 suspended welders for flash-butt welding of rails ;
• К1000, К1100 stationary welders for flash-butt welding of rails;
• К924 stationary welders for flash-butt welding of rails with the appropriate ends of rail way cross-pieces;
• К963 suspended welders for flash-butt welding of rails with the appropriate ends of rail way cross-pieces;
• КСМ005 mobile rail-welding complex on undercarriage МАЗ;
• КРС-1 self-propelled welding machine;
• ПРСМ-3 self-propelled welding machine (updating with overhaul);
• СЧ-1000 ballast cleaning machine;
• СПЗ-5 ballast leveling machine.

The main types of out-of-warranty service of track machinery and rail welding equipment are the following:

• supply of spare parts and purchased components;
• restoration or improvement of software, welding modes according to the specific requirements of the Buyer;
• starting-up and adjustment after repair or long break in work;
• troubleshooting;
• defects identification before the repair;
• current (operative) repairs at Buyer’s place;
• midlife repair at Buyer’s place;
• overhaul at the plant;
• updating with overhaul at the plant;
• studying of workers, service staff, engineers and technicians;
• other types of services according to the Buyer’s offers.

Servicing can be performed both on the basis of the direct contracts and representatives of the plant or organizations recommended by the Buyer.

Proper and qualitative service performance provides reliability and safety of operation, reduces standing (idle) time of repairs, forecasting of spare parts and purchased components warehouse what leads to the reduction of cost price for repairs and operational expenditures.
